About Brisbane Sinhala School

Brisbane Sinhala School (BSS) offers a vibrant space for Sri Lankan-Australian children in Brisbane to learn the Sinhala language and connect with their heritage. Registered with Education Queensland and affiliated with the Sinhala Association of Queensland, BSS uses an engaging, activity-based curriculum to teach language, culture, dance, and music. With passionate educators and a strong community, we aim to foster a lifelong love for language and cultural pride in the next generation. Our Mission

Brisbane Sinhala School focuses to lead the teaching and learning of Sinhala language to read, write and speak through innovative quality methods for Sri Lankan Australian students from lower to upper classes. Our skilled and committed teaching staff and the broadened school community of Parents ensure the school provides connections with their heritage and values of Sri Lankan culture.
